The Russian-Italian Cultural Association “Russian Club” has existed in Rome for more than 10 years and all this time it has been carrying out active and fruitful activities aimed at developing cultural and commercial ties between Italy and Russia, popularizing Russian culture in Italy, and maintaining the interest of Russian-speaking inhabitants of Italy, immigrants from the former USSR, to the native language and Russian culture in all its manifestations.

The president of the “Russian Club” is journalist Irina Raskina.

For 30 years she, a native Muscovite, lives in Rome, but retaining a spiritual connection with the Motherland, is proud of Russian culture and tries to acquaint the Italians with her. Irina Raskina was awarded by Roszarubezhtsentr at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for active participation in the preparation and holding of events within the Year of the Russian Language and Russian Culture in Italy.

Irina told me that, having founded the Association “Russian Club”, she opened the same restaurant in the center of Rome, in the area of ​​one of the most prestigious streets, Via Veneto.

Irina continued to develop her journalistic skills, traveling a lot in Italy and other countries. She closely cooperates with Russian-language publications in Italy and the EU, Russian media representatives in Italy, as well as Italian media, highlighting events in the cultural life of Italy and the Russian emigration, trends in fashion, enogastronomy and art, in Russian and Italian. “Russian club”
